Question: What has 26 legs, 26 arms, 13 heads and eats more in one sitting than most humans?

Hmmm?

Answer: One high school varsity girls’ softball team.

How much can you eat?

My daughter Tory’s high school softball team had a game today; after they soundly trounced the competition, the young women came to our home for a pasta dinner. Playing softball works up a mighty hunger! They ate 3 large bags of romaine lettuce made into a Caesar salad, 4 pounds of pasta, untold numbers of meatballs, 5 loaves of garlic bread, assorted breadsticks and a few gallons of a wide variety of drinks. Then they ate the cookies and donuts they brought as “dessert.”

The girls are a nice bunch, respectful and funny. It’s a pleasure to have a house full of teens. The music is blasting, the girls are playing pool, singing and laughing. The house is alive! And I love it!!

Go Blue!

Prior to today’s game I met two women bloggers who reside in Northern New Jersey. We got together for lunch. Joyce and Kim are lovely women and it was fun for me to listen to them talk about their blogging experiences to date; both have been at it longer than I have. We decided to meet again in the not-too-distant future. I’m happy I made two new friends today.
